the wandering woman of the sea

There once was a woman born of the sea.

She was happy and free.

But soon enough she wanted more and wandered the edge of the earth looking to find it.

Despite her desperate searching, the life inside of her had almost faded.

Despite being inches away from her home, she could not find it.

And alas, when she had given herself into the earth to let her spirit go, that is when the life giving waters crashed into her and through them came the breathe of life.She stood up.

She struggled.

She climbed.

And when at last she stopped, it found her. Home.

Inspired by a 5 dollar thrift store dress, a song in my heart and a willing sister who, despite all odds, still trusts me.
