I love this family and way they live. I love their bare feet and their deep thoughtful eyes. I love their humble mama and their protective papa. I love the fire in each one that seems to be burning brightly.
This session was such a dream for me. Sonya is a photographer herself and I felt such a trust in her. Honestly aren't we photographer mamas the most grateful for any photo we are in?! I know I am. I think good photographers are always the best subjects, and the most grateful.
I shot what was there.
No fancy show, no forced smiles and lots of real emotion.
It was such a gift to me to be able to do that.
A little more than a year ago I was so sick that I would lay in bed and wonder if I would be able to get out. Sick with thyroid problems, chronic strep throat, migraines 5 times a week, incredibly powerful depression, tons of inflammation that made it hard to move.
I went to doctors that gave me meds and sent me on my way. One in particular kept upping them even with bad results. I had a friend who went to Dr Todd Stone (True Health Family) and had completely healed from her auto immune disease. So off I went. Dr Stone has healed so much of me with common sense, plants and kinesiology. I trust him. I now trust my own body and that is a powerful thing.
